Our Story

A house built on soil, season and stewardship.

For centuries, Kerala has been known as the Spice Garden of the World — a stretch of monsoon-fed hills where cardamom, pepper and cinnamon have shaped global trade since the era of the Silk Road.

Origin Harvest carries that lineage into the modern table. We work directly with smallholder families across Idukki, Wayanad and the High Range, hand-selecting each harvest for aroma, oil content and visual grade. The result is a Kerala spice line built for chefs, blenders, importers and retailers who refuse to compromise.

Where the monsoon writes the flavour.

Kerala's spices owe their character to a singular geography — the Western Ghats catching two monsoons a year, volcanic-rich soils, and 1,000m+ elevations that slow ripening and concentrate essential oils.

We source across five primary regions, each with its own micro-climate and signature crop. Every lot we ship is traceable back to the cooperative — and often the family — that grew it.
